COCB has finished the Peterborough relief efforts program and is now entering into partnership with other groups to physically build a better future in and around the G.T.A. New partnerships are bringing "slow build" projects, which are completed over an extended period of time, online.
These new partnerships include: Toronto History Project, Heritage Toronto, Margaret Frazer House, Marcus Garvey Centre, COSTI Immigrant Services and the Toronto Training Board just to name a few.
"Slow build" projects will provide an opportunity for youth to actively participate in construction activities while long time workers mentor them thereby giving back to the communities through their voluntary efforts.
COCB is well on its way to making a positive contribution in the ongoing development of our growing society.
